You have an idea but just do not seem to have the energy to write it down. As a way to start motivating yourself to write more you should carry a journal with you. Try writing in it for ten solid minutes a day. Then you should progress to twenty minutes each day nonstop. Gradually your novel will take shape. It is all about steps.

If you want to teach your children about self motivation you have to practice what you preach. If you talk about wanting to lose weight but never exercise or eat far too many sweets, you are not setting a good example. If your goal is to have a clean and tidy house but you will not wash the dishes or clean…once again you are not setting an example. Children learn by watching the actions of their parents and listening to what the parents are saying. So if your words and your actions do not match up it can easily be confusing to a child.
